King Dumplings

So… I’ll start with the pros. My food came out fast and piping hot. That’s about where it ends.

I really don’t know how this place has such a high rating when the place is filthy. There was nowhere to sit and eat because there was trash, old food, and soy sauce crusted on literally all the tables. The floor was filthy. And the gentleman taking my order had white crust on the corner of his mouth and was touching his mouth and then handling food. I heard someone hacking up a very loud phlegmy lung, open mouthed, while cooking in the back.

Like I said, my chicken dumplings were obviously cooked fresh. I thought about just throwing them away bc of everything I saw while I was waiting for my food. But I decided to taste one so I could maybe make this review more positive - unfortunately, they were very doughy and soggy, and the chicken inside was kinda a weird texture and tasted just ok.

I have been to many other dumpling/dim sum places in Chinatown that were much cleaner and still affordable. I guess in this instance, you really get what you pay for, and I did only pay $5 for 10 dumplings, but unfortunately I felt unsafe eating them so that’s $5 down the drain. That being said, this place is still obviously well patronized and maybe I just ordered the wrong dish and came on the wrong day.

Io ho mangiato Ravioli vegetariani spettacolari …fatti al momento e cucinati al vapore …ne avrei mangiati altri 10 ma non volevo esagerare ????consigliatissimo…P.s: c’è fila ma si smaltisce abbastanza velocemente il segreto è non andare nelle ore di punta…..
